Check your DNSSEC

Enter your domain and abr.cloud checks whether DNSSEC is enabled and actually validating — the signatures that stop attackers from forging your DNS answers — and shows you exactly what to turn on if it isn't.

One quick verification, no account. We store nothing unless you start monitoring.

What is DNSSEC?

DNSSEC cryptographically signs your DNS records so resolvers can prove the answer they got is the real one, not a forged reply from an attacker (cache poisoning). Without it, DNS answers are trusted blindly. It's an increasingly expected baseline — and a prerequisite for stronger email security like DANE.

Frequently asked questions

Is the DNSSEC check free?

Yes — free with a quick CAPTCHA, no account. It only queries public DNS.

My provider says DNSSEC is on but this fails — why?

Usually the DS record isn't published at the registrar, so the chain of trust is broken. Enabling signing and publishing the DS are two separate steps.

Will DNSSEC slow down my site?

The overhead is negligible for visitors; the security benefit against DNS forgery is well worth it.
